ministry with teenagers

You children, be obedient to your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
Honor thy father and thy mother, which is the first commandment with promise;
That it may go well with you, and that you may live a long time on earth.

Ephesians 6:1-3

Church meetings for young teenagers should be early moments, pleasant occasions, where they will meet their friends and brothers, where they can develop their knowledge of the word, and feel at home. That's our heart.  

Knowing God is the best thing in the world. And for pre-teens this knowledge is essential in the way they will live life in these very challenging years. These are years of change, more independence and more complex decisions. But God is with us and has been very good, always laying his hand on them, bringing a special fellowship between them.  

The joy of young people is a gift from God. Our job is to point to Jesus as our greatest example. And pray that God will touch their hearts continually.
