According to the Human Development Index (HDI) Haiti is the poorest country in America. One of the current great enemies is HUNGER. The country, in almost its entirety, became a victim of diseases, malnutrition, physical and mental apathy due to the absence of nutrients and proteins acquired in food. Every year, 26,000 children under the age of 5 die of hunger in the country.
The HAITI WITHOUT HUNGER Project aims to alleviate the hunger of 1000 families who currently reside in survivors' camps. A Haitian family eats, on average, 05 meals a week, and we are working to increase this rate. With a number that varies from 04 to 07 people per family, it is possible to feed them with the value of 55 Dollars per month.
It is our task to raise 1000 supporters (individuals, families, churches) with this monthly amount so that 1000 Haitian families are supplied.
